Concerns raised over DNA testing

As the case against Dwayne McNair of Dedham on charges of sexual assault continues, many eyes are on the key piece of technology used to determine that it was he, and not his twin brother, who committed the alleged offenses.

McNair was initially indicted in 2012 on eight counts of aggravated rape and two counts of armed robbery for two separate attacks on women in September 2004. However, the charges had to be dropped because DNA testing could not differentiate between McNair and his identical twin brother.
