Dylan Stonecipher

Postdoctoral Associate

Dylan Stonecipher is a postdoctoral associate whose research focuses primarily on the legal implications of the collection of biometric data in the immigration context. His areas of interest include the use of DNA in family reunification and the effect that COVID-19 will have on the modern immigration regime.

A recent graduate of Duke Law, Dylan spent the past two summers working at Justice for Our Neighbors, a non-profit immigration firm in Austin, Texas, and the Washington State Attorney General’s Office Ecology Division respectively. During his time at Duke, Dylan was a member of the Environmental Law and Policy Clinic and served as a coach for the Duke Men’s Club Rowing Team.
