Step into the Situation Room! The Sanford Cyber Cup is a one-day policy simulation where teams of students brief the National Security Council on an unfolding cyber crisis. Modeled after the Atlantic Council’s Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge, the competition combines fast-moving analysis, creative policymaking, and high-pressure briefing before a panel of industry and faculty judges.

Teams: 3–4 students (both undergraduate and graduate). Don’t have a team? We’ll match you with one.
Morning rounds: 20-minute team briefings on the initial scenario.
Afternoon finals: Top teams return to brief again after a scenario update.
Scenario: Released to registered participants on September 19.
Registration deadline: September 21.
