The Duke Digital Frontiers Conference is Duke University’s first undergraduate-led tech policy convening, directed by Duke Cyber and sponsored by the Program in American Grand Strategy (AGS) and Cybersecurity Masters Program.
This year’s theme, Governance in the Age of AI, asks a central question:
What does effective governance look like as AI systems wield influence over national security, public discourse, and global stability?
The conference invites participants to engage with the hard governance questions that will define the coming decades, and to imagine the institutions, guardrails, and global norms needed to ensure AI serves the public interest.
