DukeSNAP’s Saturday workshop will convene at Environment Hall at 9AM to quickly go over the strategy for the day. After which you will be heading into the Duke Forest with cameras to document the wonders of Duke Forest, its volunteer workers, its natural beauty (and resources), and the students that have their research sites there. DukeSNAP aims to keep this project going throughout the rest of the year, as 2016 marks the Duke Forest’s 85th anniversary! The ultimate goal is to have an exhibition as a result of your work, so this is your chance for instant (campus-wide) fame!
Sign up here for our Saturday workshop, there are only a few more slots available!
DukeSNAP (Stories of Nature and People) is a student-led science communication group, hoping to increase the awareness that great science needs even greater communication skills.
