With guest speaker Nivruti Rai, Vice President, and India Country Head at Intel Corporation
Nivruti Rai is Vice President and Country Head Intel India at Intel Corporation. Based in Bengaluru, she oversees operations for Intel’s engineering teams and operations. She is also a senior advisor to the Modi government on issues relating to innovation, technology implementation, and artificial intelligence. Her focus is the role that India can play as a leader in technology to help create the next generation of the global digital infrastructure with a specific emphasis on using unstructured data to train artificial intelligence tools.
Fortune India named her one of the 50 most powerful women in business in India. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, and chemistry and a master’s degree in applied mathematics, both from the University of Lucknow in India. She also holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Oregon State University and a board of director certification from Harvard Business School. She has been issued one U.S. patent and has authored several technical papers on integrated circuit design methodologies and operations research.
