Responsible Data and Emerging Technologies Fireside Chat Series: Prof. Lee Tiedrich, Keith Sonderling & Bradford J. Kelly

 

Keith Sonderling is a Commissioner on the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and has a background in labor and employment law. Having previously served as the Acting and Deputy Administrator of the Wage and Hour Division at the U.S. Department of Labor, Sonderling has published numerous articles on the benefits and potential harms of using AI-based technology in the workplace and speaks globally on these emerging issues. Bradford J. Kelley serves as Chief Counsel to Sonderling and is an adjunct professor at The Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law teaching employment discrimination. He has also published articles on the use of AI-based technology in the workplace and speaks nationally on these emerging issues. They will speak about the intersection of civil rights laws and emerging technologies, and their experiences and insights on the topic. This is a valuable opportunity for students interested in this topic to learn from experts in the field.
