S&S Dinner Dialogues, with Jonathan Wiener
Advocates of settling on Mars have argued that it offers a way to protect against catastrophic risks to life on Earth. Others worry that settling on Mars could distract from combatting those risks to Earth, and might even introduce new risks. How should we evaluate these conflicting risks, and develop policies to guide our best choices?”
Join Professor Wiener for dinner and discussion on Tuesday, October 29th at 7:00 pm. This event is free to attend, and transportation is available if needed.
