Event Details

Retractions from the scientific literature have dramatically increased in the past decade, mostly the result of scientific misconduct. What are the implications of this phenomenon for scientific integrity? Is this the result of increased scrutiny or decreased ethics?  How should the journals and the scientific community respond?

Come discuss these issues with Dr. David Resnik, bioethicist, philosopher and chair of the IRB at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.
