Dr. Rick Bedlack is Duke University School of Medicine’s first endowed professor of ALS and currently leads two programs dedicated to solving the mysteries of the disease. In honor of May being ALS Awareness Month, two free screenings of the documentary short film “Stitching Strength” will be featured on May 21st and 26th. The film showcases Dr. Bedlack and his unique ways of creating positivity and hope in ALS, as well as what it means to people living with this disease.
