Congratulations to Paige Crane and Isaac Loy on their successful masters defense. Their practicum work demonstrates the variety of work taken up by students in the Duke Master of Arts in Bioethics & Science Policy. Crane focused her work on tech ethics and policy relating to privacy and forensic science, while Loy’s work centered on policy to address a life-threatening liver disease in Ugandan newborns. After graduation, Crane intends to join the Peace Corp while Loy has been accepted to the University of Florida College of Medicine.
