Matthew Brune
Hello! My name is Matthew Brune and I am a sophomore studying Civil and Environmental Engineering, with a minor in Statistical Science. My research interests include geoengineering, climate change, data science, and large-scale climate model outputs. In the Modeling Environmental Risks and Decisions Group at Duke, I conducted a literature review for a policy streams approach to geoengineering and developed standard geoengineering pathways. Currently, I am serving as an undergraduate researcher on the NSF Project: Implications of SRM for Strategic Behavior and Climate Governance, and working on a new expert elicitation project—developing a timeline for a geoengineering development. I am excited to both ask and answer new questions as a member of the Duke Center on Risk!
