US, China agree on greenhouse gas reductions

Leaders of the United States and China, the world’s two top greenhouse gas polluters, have agreed to take steps to rein in their planet warming emissions. Experts say they are good steps if the countries follow through, but they may not be enough to fend off the worst impacts of climate change. Duke University’s Tim Profeta, director of the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, comments.
