Professor Lee Tiedrich and Rachel See, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Senior Counsel for AI and Algorithmic Bias, will discuss the EEOC’s initiative to promote anti-discrimination efforts in the hiring process. This event is being sponsored by the Duke Initiative for Science & Society, Duke Law, the Sanford School of Public Policy, the Public Interest Law Foundation at Duke Law, and the Duke Center on Law & Technology.

Rachel is a leader in the trans rights movement who has spent her professional career at the intersection of law and technology, leading digital transformation and information governance initiatives in the federal government and private sector. She is a civil-rights lawyer, a litigator, and a technology advocate and enthusiast.
