Travis Simmons is the Communications Specialist for the Duke Initiative for Science & Society and is responsible for assisting with marketing and public relations.

Travis is a part of the media agency “Pipeline” where he learns different ways to grow social media. Travis is also a Virtual Reality Gaming Influencer with 14.1k supporters on TikTok, and he helps local artists increase the size of their presence online presence. Travis produces conceptual and creative content using Unreal Engine 5 and AI to produce stop motion video in addition to offering motion design services for the local North Carolina Arts Community. Travis holds a B.A. from North Carolina Central University in Mass Communications.
