Event Details

Celebrate the bounty of autumn with a free festival of activities, music, demonstrations and more in the Charlotte Brody Discovery Garden. This free event for all ages features:

Features include:

  • the Durham Beekeepers
  • Science with Stormie Daie
  • The Music Lab with Mr. Steve
  • Food preservation activities led by the Museum of Life and Science and SLICE325
  • An exciting new “self-discovery” area in the story circle featuring a rotating collection from the Liberation Station Black Lit Library
  • The opportunity to hear a book from the Black Lit library collection read aloud every 30 minutes by Victoria Scott Miller of Liberation Station
  • The reveal of Claire Alexandre’s portrait of Stormie Daie, on display in the story circle

Join us at 1 p.m. for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the story circle changes, or at any time between 1 and 4 p.m. to enjoy the festivities.
