Immediately following the Happy Hour, it’s time for dinosaurs! We invite you to join the Duke Initiative for Science & Society and the Science Communicators of North Carolina for “Science in the Movies: Dinosaurs and Paleontologists“. This free event will take place at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. It’s only a 10-minute walk from the Happy Hour to the Museum!

The monthly Science Policy Happy Hours are for individuals interested or already engaged in science policy. They are informal networking and engagement opportunities for professionals, students, academics, and enthusiasts—at all career levels—who share an interest in science policy and communication. Come have a drink and grow your science policy network!

Subsequent Science Policy Happy Hours will take place on the first Thursday of each month from 5:30-7:00pm. We’ll rotate locations around the Triangle!
