Applications are open on the Duke Grad School Website
- Spring 2026 (January 2026 start) – MA and JD/MA Applications are due October 1, 2025
- Fall 2026 (August 2026 start) – MA and MD/MA applications are due January 22, 2026 (Early Action) and March 16, 2026 (Regular Admissions)
- Fall 2026 Rolling Admission (August 2026 start) – MA applications will be accepted on a rolling basis through May 29th, 2026.

Professional Development Resources for Duke Graduate Students
Duke offers a number of professional development opportunities and resources for graduate students and postdocs alike, whether they plan to pursue a career in or outside of academia. Additionally, there are are a number of resources to support them during their time at Duke (e.g., responsible conduct of research training, teaching training, and writing support). If you have an idea for a workshop/event geared towards professional development, you can apply for a grant to support your program.
